City of South Miami 

The houses in South Miami consist of  mostly single family, some townhomes and condos.


On June 24, 1927,  the City of South Miami was born. It is approximately 3 miles south of the City of Miami. It incorporates an area of approximately 6 square miles.  This section of land is bounded on the east by Red Road, on the south by S.W. 104th St. and Kendall Drive, on the west by Ludlam and the Palmetto, and on the north by Bird Road.It borders the University of Miami’s main campus and the cities of Coral Gables and Pinecrest.

South Miami has a unique "small-town" atmosphere and is known as the "City of Pleasant Living".  There is an art festival every winter and many street fairs and festivals.

There are 15 parks in the City of South Miami. 

Sunset Place is located in South Miami.  It is a 3 tier outdoor mall with shops movie theaters and restaurants.  There are also many shops and restaurants in the cental part of the City.
